This week on Titanic..err School Rumble the gang gets stuck on a boat in the middle of the ocean. I recently read up to volume 13 of the School Rumble manga and was pretty surprised the anime (seasons 1 and 2) followed it so close that I actually ended up just skipping through most of the chapters going “oh well I saw this before…” I mean sure the anime had its stupid fillers (card captor Mai) and small editions but some jokes just came out funnier animated. Needless to say if I read anymore SR manga it will be whatever is AFTER the anime ends (I guess volume 14 and up?) since it’s basically the same anyway.

The gang goes on a cruise sponsored by Eri since the school year is ending I guess. Everything’s fine and dandy but that man-maid’s stupidity crashes the boat into some rocks and breaks the engine. The maid-dude and Eri’s butler row off on a canoe to get help leaving everyone stranded on the boat in the middle of the ocean. In the meantime Hanai is on his kite and he lands on some strange island, but everyone there looks like a tan version of his classmates :lol:. He runs into a Yakumo look alike and saves her from being persecuted or something. He also like saves the village by resurrecting their god with his glasses and defeating a giant pig. Yakumo asks him to stay with them, and he is very much tempted but then says thanks and flies off.

He flies over and lands on the boat where everyone is stranded and tells his story…but for some reason everyone on the boat had a dream and saw his story as well :lol:. Things start to get bad when it gets cold and they somehow manage to reach a bunch of ice bergs. Tenma notices that Karasuma is there, in a giant penguin suit with other penguins. I found this funny because at the beginning of the episode Tenma said “Karasuma-kun couldn’t come with us because he had to go visit some relatives.” XDXDXD Anyway he “smiles” at her and Tenma says “he’s telling us to hang in there so let’s do our best!” Everyone decides it’s time to try to do their best and figure out ways to survive until help comes.

Their attempts are once again made futile because a giant white whale decides to attack the boat ^^;. They don’t know what to do and it angrily starts heading towards their direction. As they all duck for cover, only Yakumo stands and right as the whale is about to attack he stops and blushes. The whale fell in love with Yakumo. xDDDDDDDDDDD Okay that was funny. Also I’d like to point out the BGM played during that scene makes me all emotional and teary (like it did last episode with the snow bunny incident.) I can’t wait for the OST to come out, that thing’s going on repeat! So yea the whale is nice and like helps them move the boat….but unfortunately in the wrong direction.

Upcoming Attractions: Some kind of romance regarding Harima-kun and his comic getting published. Serious business.
