I think next week is the last episode maybe? That or 11 is the last one I can’t recall. Makio’s father gets shot in the hand and it causes Makio and Mikio to fight over who will be the next boss. The father stops their bickering and tells them that they have until February 14th (Valentine’s Day how ironic :P) to appeal to other members so that they will then vote and pick who the boss will be. They decide to create “appeal videos”. Mikio’s video is all classy and shows him studying, talking with some white guy, and holding a kitten lol. Makio’s video is just random shots of his high school life and how he threw the pencil on his exam to decide which answer to choose ^^;…needless to say the video poll is in Mikio’s bag.

The teachers approach Makio telling him that his grades are so horrible that he has to take the final exam in order to graduate. They tell him that he has until February 14th (again) to study and he will take the exam on his own then. Minami-sensei offers to help him study as well and she keeps having these thoughts about him. Oh I forgot to mention at the beginning of the episode she tripped on a step in the park, and Makio caught her….but he was in his Yakuza mode and she thought she was seeing things. The boys in the class also decide that whoever gets the most Valentine’s Day chocolates from the girls, will be “Mr. 3-D”. So now Makio has 3 things due 2/14.

Makio takes the time to study for his exam instead of preparing for the boss conference thing and so he does well on it. The teachers congradulate him and say that he can now graduate with everybody else. After this he runs to the boss conference where Mikio is giving his speech and it seems he has won the audience over. Makio arrives and Koki gives him a speech that he prepared for him…but he accidentally gives him the piece of paper with a recipe on it and Makio begins by reading out loud how to properly stir an egg.

Makio realizes that he’s not reading the right thing so he crumples it up and tosses it aside. He starts giving them a speech about how his only world was being a yakuza, until he went to high school. He thought high school was shit but he said he really enjoyed his time and all the friends he made there. He says that he will miss it, but he realizes that his path is to be a boss and that’s what he wishes to do. He then walks off the stage and the audience claps. The final tally shows that Makio is the winner by 10 votes and Mikio congradulates him. Makio tells Mikio that even though their mother always gave Makio the attention, she still cared about them both so Mikio should just pursue his usual life and not try to take somethin away from him.

One day at school Minami-sensei goes to see the nurse but she’s having a conversation with Makio’s father. Apparently the two of them used to be high school sweethearts but Minami-sensei also overhears that Makio is like 28 years old and is now the boss of a yakuza. The next day Minami-sensei treats him coldly and before he can figure out why, he tells everyone to get down. No one knows why but suddenly the glass breaks through the windows and everyone rushes screaming down to the floor. Makio looks out the window and sees a yakuza gang whose come to challenge him.

Upcoming Attractions: A repeat of the last episode of Gokusen…Makio gets down and dirty with those yakuza punks but still manages to graduate.
