This week on Titanic..err School Rumble the gang gets stuck on a boat in the middle of the ocean. I recently read up to volume 13 of the School Rumble manga and was pretty surprised the anime (seasons 1 and 2) followed it so close that I actually ended up just skipping through most of the chapters going “oh well I saw this before…” I mean sure the anime had its stupid fillers (card captor Mai) and small editions but some jokes just came out funnier animated. Needless to say if I read anymore SR manga it will be whatever is AFTER the anime ends (I guess volume 14 and up?) since it’s basically the same anyway. Continue Reading »

This is what happens when you take advice from household appliances. Sato is like totally in love with Misaki and can’t stop thinking about her. He regrets not buying anything for her at the festival and imagines buying her cotton candy and then kissing her. He quickly exits from his dreamland and beats his head against the wall. Even when writing the scenario for their game, he changes the girl’s name from Rei to Misaki and almost destroys Yamazaki’s laptop in the process (from going crazy). Continue Reading »

I think next week is the last episode maybe? That or 11 is the last one I can’t recall. Makio’s father gets shot in the hand and it causes Makio and Mikio to fight over who will be the next boss. The father stops their bickering and tells them that they have until February 14th (Valentine’s Day how ironic :P) to appeal to other members so that they will then vote and pick who the boss will be. They decide to create “appeal videos”. Mikio’s video is all classy and shows him studying, talking with some white guy, and holding a kitten lol. Makio’s video is just random shots of his high school life and how he threw the pencil on his exam to decide which answer to choose ^^;…needless to say the video poll is in Mikio’s bag. Don’t you hate when a show has flashbacks? Especially flashbacks that they show of a scene that happened like 5 minutes earlier. Yea so anyway Nina’s brain finally clicks that “Hey it’s Christmas soon and that means Zero and Ichi are leaving….IN A WEEK!” (you’re wrong cause actually there’s 2 weeks left of this series!!) Anyway Nina gets all emo and starts avoiding them saying she can be fine on their own. The two of them of course misunderstand thinking that she wants to avoid them once again because they are always with her. Also Nina can’t seem to “choose” between the two of them, although according to my lovely visitors she picks Zero at the end of the manga. Continue Reading »
