Taiyou no Uta - 08
Just when things are going well, fate comes slapping you accross the face.
Kudou, in a desperate attempt to get a replacement for Asami, decides to ask Kaoru to debut her band. He appologizes for being rude to her, but despite his attempts she refuses. He tells her that he just can’t take no for an answer, and will keep trying until she agrees. Kouji sees Kudou walking out of Kaoru’s house and Kudou tells Kouji about how Kaoru refused the opportunity. Kaoru asks everyone to keep it a secret from the other 3 band members because she doesn’t want to trouble them.
Kudou goes to Asami’s house and she apparently wrote a song. However, the song she wrote is apparently really crappy and she said it’s all that she could come up with. Kudou looks at the song and throws the paper aside saying that if she can’t do it properly then he doesn’t need her. He said he’s found a replacement: Amane Kaoru. Asami says “Why is it always her?” Kudou explains that he found out Kaoru has XP, and therefore she is putting more “passion” into her singing because she doesn’t know how long she will live.
Because Kaoru’s friend has a big mouth, she tells her boyfriend that Kaoru refused the opportunity for the band to debut. He gets angry and confronts her during a practice session and the others say that they are hurt as well that she didn’t confide in them and they’re supposed to be a “band”. The 3 of them walk out leaving Kaoru alone with Kouji. Kaoru says that this is fine since she doesn’t know how long it’ll be for her to live, and that the other 2 are gonna be going to college next year. She starts crying and Kouji gives her a supportive hug.
Asami confronts Kaoru and says that she’s taking everything away from her (Sapuri anyone?). She asks her to give Kouji back to her and she can have her music. Kaoru says that she likes Asami and doesn’t want to hear her say these things. She then walks away. Eventually Kaoru thinks about it, and she decides that she wants to continue the band. She tells the other 3 that she really likes doing the music thing and doesn’t want to stop. They forgive her and she also gives Kudou a call and says she will accept his offer to debut the band. The 5 of them go to the studio to sign contracts and such as well as take some group photos.
Everything is fine and dandy until the wench who was jealous of Asami, got a photographer to take paparazzi photos of Kaoru, Asami and Kouji. The photos were pasted with nasty rumors in a magazine and suddenly Kaoru’s house, and Kudou’s studio have been mobbed with the press. They all now know that Kaoru has XP and that she’s a “rival” or “replacement” for Asami. They also now know Asami’s where abouts and things just get out of control.
Upcoming Attractions: Kouji thinks of dropping out of the band to end the rumors, and Kaoru runs out into the sunlight.

Are the girls hot??!? I need something other than anime to watch, and if there’s a nice plot/romance then I might consider it.
All the dramas I watch have romance plot n_n
whether the “girls are hot” I can’t comment on because I don’t typically watch dramas for “hot girls” cause im a girl….and I like Yamada Takayuki
You know, I’ve never thought asian guys were ever that hot, I dunno why (no not because I’m a guy). Although, he does kinda have a girlish look to him, not bad i suppose, not bad…
I think the guy in Sapuri is hotter but this guy is probably a better actor because he doesn’t have a “singing” career to keep him busy
