School Rumble II - 23
Awesome episode this was. 
Tenma is trying to lose weight but fails when Yakumo makes her a bunch of pizza rolls. Tenma then gets invited to go skiing and she takes the opportunity to lose weight that she gained over New Year’s break. Akira attempts to invite Harima by telling him Tenma is gonna be there, but he reluctantly refuses because he has no money for a skii trip, and he has to draw his manga. Tenma leaves Yakumo home alone, but little does she know that Yakumo has caught a cold. Everyone’s amazed that Tenma skii’s really well and she keeps showing off until she runs into Karasuma, who’s dressed in a snowman suit.
Tenma tries to show Karasuma her message of love by having herself, Eri and Mikoto jump off the ski slopes and make “kanji” using their bodies. The idea was to make it say “Daisuki” but because of stuff falling off, it looked like “Futosugi” (too fat). Karasuma said that he agrees with Tenma that he did gain weight over new years and says he has a message for her too. He jumps off the skii slope and positions his body to say “Arigatou” (thank you). Tenma has hearts all over and now we pan over to Imadori, Karen and Lala group. They are trying to ice skate, but sadly Lala can’t ice skae for crap and Imadori keeps making fun of her.
Next they announce an ice skating compeition for pairs. Karen and that Tousomething guy, are a pair but during their skating while Karen is doing the pretty poses, he’s doing like random karate poses on his own. They get disqualified because they don’t act like ” a pair”. Imadori is paired up with Lala, but he makes her wear a goofy outfit, and then she gets pissed because everyone laughs. She then runs after Imadori after taking her skates off and starts beating the crap outta him (also disqualifying them from the contest.)
Next we pan back to Harima who’s sitting at home and he realizes he’s cold and not near the kotatsu. He tries to go in it but feels like there’s somethign hiding inside. When he peeks he finds that his giraffe Peotoru (sp?) is under there. He comes out and says that “an important friend is in trouble”. Harima thinks that it’s Tenma, and he hops on Peotoru’s back and tells him to lead the way. In the meantime, we are shown that Yakumo has passed out on the kitchen floor home alone. 
She has a dream that when she was little and sick, Tenma made a yukiusagi (snow bunny) for her and put it on her head to help lower the fever. We pan back to reality and Yakumo is being held by Harima who keeps telling her to hang on. He brings her out of the kitchen and puts her into a futon. Just as he’s about to go back to his room, I guess he gets tired and instantly passes out and falls asleep right next to her. Iori comes in and places his cold paw on Yakumo’s head to cool her off…and Peotoru does the same for Harima except he like squashes Harima’s head.

What the fork, Tenma is not fat at all. Oh, and Karasuma in a snowman suit = win.
I cannot decide if I like Harima x Eri or Harima x Yakumo. ;_;

OMG yes!!! I love Harima + Yakumo pairing, because it’s such a real interaction between the two. I’m always a fan of the more “natural” route of couples, meaning it just kind of happens, none of the whole crush thing. I want more. And don’t “settle” for Yakumo, cheer for Yakumo! /cheer Yes, I’m lame.

I think we know the choice of the animals in this matter.
And yet the Harima&Eri fans vastly outnumber the Harima&Yakumo fans. ^^; I support Harima&Yakumo all the way.

And goofy suit = speed skater suit. This was an awesome episode but not tearjerking like you said Hina.
The great thing about SR is that many, if not most of the characters are almost main-character-like. Even side ones like Imadori and Karen could probably star in their own series and still make it better than many a show.
I dunno why that Yakumo scene made me teary
As much as I don’t mind anime-original material, I don’t see why they threw in the extra Onigiri scene, especially when the manga leaves it dead in the water. Looks like more needless innuendo.

It took me for-damn-ever to finally download this episode(crappy wireless). My god, Harima and Yakumo scene made me all girly n shit. There’s just something about those two that make me wanna say, “awww.” Pretty good episode.
