His human form doesn't seem to be the insanely strong fox demon type or anything close to it for that matter. I like how they fit in a character design that is totally out of context into the show (eg a Samurai Underwear Master-snatcher, a pants-less dude dressed like a vampire). I guess that's one of the main reasons that's keeping me hooked on this anime series. Somehow I can’t shake off the feeling that Youko’s dad was ripped out from some random anime/manga or something.
