Holy shit this episode was so hottt! I don’t know if this was all in the story, but if it wasn’t then I’d like to personally thank Gonzo for once for changing the story for the GOOD! Okay so anyway Misaki comes over Sato’s house and she offers to help him clean up his dump of a room before his mother comes. While they are cleaning, the doorbell rings and Sato thinks it’s his mom. They quickly start piling all the bags of trash on top of his bed but when Misaki pulls out a fax she sees hanging, all the trash comes tumbling down on top of them. Sato falls on top of Misaki, just in time for Yamazaki to open the door and see the reason why “Sato’s hands were full”.

So anyway finally Sato’s mom comes around just in time to see him drop his porno collection down the stairs in front of her. He tells her that he isn’t done cleaning his room and she said she doesn’t want to see it because it’s probably so dirty that she’ll get the urge to clean it up. Instead she says she’s hungry and asks if they can go to dinner. She then meets Misaki and hugs her saying what a cute daughter in law she is going to have. On the train ride Sato is nervous hoping his mom won’t find out the truth while Misaki and her are picking out what restaurant to eat. They end up picking Chinatown and eat there. During the meal things get awkward when his mom starts asking Misaki questions like “What do you like about Sato? Why do you call him Sato instead of Tatsuhiro? Why did you pick him out of all the other guys?” Misaki isn’t sure how to answer and while Sato’s in the toilet, the mom tells Misaki “I know you’re lying. Sato asked you to do this didn’t he?” Sato overhears this and knows by then his plan is foiled.

Sato’s mom says she has to go meet a friend of hers so she’ll be leaving the two of them “alone”. Before Sato can say anything or explain himself, she leaves. He tell Misaki that the jig is up and he’s going home…but before he can leave Misaki grabs his sleeve and says she wants to walk around the area with him. Sato is shocked but agrees. Before they know it, they walk into a date spot…aka there’s no one there but couples getting all lovey dovey with each other. Misaki blushes but then grabs and latches on to Sato’s arm so that they “fit in”.

They start walking away but yet again they walk into….a make out spot in a dark forest. They’re pretty uncomfortable at first standing there while everyone else is making out around them. Suddenly, Misaki turns around, faces Sato and closes her eyes. Sato looks at her and notices that she is wearing rouge lipstick just for him. He tells himself that he shouldn’t but then realizes that he can’t stop and leans close to her face. Right before he’s about to kiss her though….Yamazaki calls him and bitches at how he’s been sitting here waiting for Sato’s mom to call him so he could pretend to be the spokesman for “their company”. The mood is ruined and the two of them go home. Sato and Misaki are sitting alone in their respective rooms, with their hands on their lips thinking about what had almost happened.
