Love GetCHU! - 19
The end of Momoko!…is this week’s episode title.
I was gonna wait till tomorrow to watch this, but I got the opening theme song and listened to it on repeat 20+ times and just couldn’t wait.
Anyway Momoko loses her voice, but temporarily. She’s so stressed over Atari and Yurika that her act is starting to break down, and it’s affecting her voice acting job. Her teacher and the agency chief have no idea what’s going on, and the only one who has a clue is Amane.
Atari gets chosen as the lead animator for the sequel to “Skater Love”. He gets excited and tells Momoko, who miraculously regains her voice after they have a merry chat about it. Luna is super happy, and leaves them alone until Yurika shows up to make dinner for Atari. Momoko acts as if it’s no big deal and says “The interference shall now disappear” and leaves them be. Luna sees this and says to herself “nikujaga (the food Yurika prepares) vs. skater love!”
To make matters even worse, it’s officially announced that Sister x Sisters is breaking up. (By the way it hit me like a rock that the 5 girls are the ones who sang the opening theme duh im a moron.) Also, to make things even worse, Rinka says she is leaving the Lambda agency, to join the agency where Yumi (the blond ho) works at. Momoko is upset and says how they’ve always done things together but Rinka tells her that it was Momoko who inspired her to take courage and make her own decisions. That night Amane abducts Momoko in her limo and out on some port she tells Momoko that Atari is the reason she’s losing her voice. She tells Momoko that if she wants to be a successful seiyuu she has to forget about him. Momoko comes home and cries alone in her room saying that she loves him so much that she can’t help it.
Also that day, Yurika ges mad at Atari and runs away because he said he’d go to the hot springs with her, but after he gets the Skater Love II project, he has to spend his Sundays (oh how fun Japan is) working on the project. She calls him and meets him in the park and appologizes. She also admits that they did not have sex and she just wanted Atari all to herself. Atari says that he’s really sorry but he just can’t answer her feelings. They mutually break up, and Yurika tells Atari he has to buy her dinner. It turns out, Momoko has decided to quit being a voice actress, and the last scene shows her at a train station with her belongings.
Upcoming Attractions: Momoko runs away and everyone goes to look for her.
