Taiyou no Uta - 06
I am sad to inform you I am also halting my Sunday blogging of Zero no Tsukaima.
I am really pressured down by time to finish an AMV, a doujinshi and my Naruto flash before the fillers end (Yes they may be ending @_@;). So to cut down I decided to temporarily cut Zero out of my Sunday lineup. See the schedule page in case you forgot what I’m still blogging. Anyway on to the episode. Kouji plays on Kaoru’s guitar and she sings and the other guys see this and are inspired to make a band. They also find that there’s a summer band compeition happening in a month and they wanna participate. The owner of the restaurant that they work at just happens to be a guitar playing dude so he offers to teach them musical lessons.
Everything seems to be great until Kouji runs into some old aquaintances that he just didn’t want to see. About 4 years ago, him and the leader of this gang used to sell drugs together. They come back and ask Kouji to do it again but Kouji refuses and tells them to leave him alone. They agree, to leave HIM alone, but they have plans to attack his friends, including Kaoru.
One night Kouji tells Kaoru that if there’s anything she wants to do or wants to go somewhere, he will take her. She says it’s okay and it’s no big deal but Kouji insists and so she asks him to take her up to the viewing tower to see the moon from above. Kouji agrees and they decide to meet in front of it the next night. Unfortunately when Kaoru gets there, Kouji’s aquaintance and his gang attack her and try to rape her. Kouji’s friends, who are walking from practice hear Kaoru’s screaming and rush in to help but the gang just beats them up. Just as the leader is about to attack Kaoru again, Kouji shows up and protects her. The gang hears a cop running and they run off.
Kouji appologizes and tells everyone the truth about him selling drugs. Kaoru tells him that it’s not his fault and that he is a nice person who would not harm anyone now. Kouji says that if he left she’d be better off and she says that she wants to be with him. She also asks about his relationship with that singer lady and he tells her that 4 years ago, she was getting beat up by that gang, and he went in to save her, but then she ran off and left him to get beat up (? I think that’s what happened..) Anyways, Kaoru’s phone rings to tell her that it’s time to go home, and asks Kouji to answer her pleas but he just stays silent and she walks off. Later Kouji runs into that singer chick again (I keep forgetting her name), and she hugs him and says that she didn’t meant to abandon him and that she wants to be with him again. This time, however, Kouji doesn’t push her away and instead hugs her back.
Upcoming Attractions: Moon Child (Lawl they named their band after a yaoi Gackt/Hyde Movie!!) takes the stage at the battle of the bands!

Pretty decent episode. It’s really mirroring mbmh a lot where we have the main lead male feeling all crappy, and to top it all off, the band thing! (ha ha).
yea thats what I said, whats up with the band thing in dramas this week( or next week rather)
