Ah the all famous body switching episode. Every anime has to have one of those to complete the circle of gags! Nanase devises a plan to hit Nina in the face with a volleyball so that she can put on a bandaid that will cause Nina & Zero to switch bodies. He picks Zero because he knows that Zero is the jealous one and Zero tells Nina that it pisses him off whenever she gets “friendly” with another guy. Lol ^^;
Oh yea we also have lots of “Nina has no breasts” jokes in this episode. Anyways the next morning Nina wakes up to find out that she’s in Zero’s body and Zero walks in shirtless as Nina. In school they have to pretend to be their real selves until they can figure out how to return back to normal. However it becomes difficult during swim class when Nina and Zero are in the opposite sex’s changing room. Nina ends up running away and Zero passes out from seeing all the girls in their swimsuits. 
Zero, in Nina’s body is creating a legend. He makes Nina look good by swimming perfectly, running into the men’s bathroom (I’m not sure why guys are turned on by this?), sleeping in class, honestly saying “I don’t know the answer” during a lesson and eating food down like a pig. In the meantime Nina, in Zero’s body is panicking because she doesn’t want such attention especially when she returns to her normal body.
So then eventually Ichi says that in order to get back to normal Nina & Zero have to get “close” to each other. I kept thinking they were gonna kiss or something but I guess not (yet?). Nanase shows up and says that if they give Nina over to them, he will reverse the spell. They agree to do so, but Nanase ends up forgetting the reversal spell and if Nina/Zero don’t figure out how to return to normal in 3 minutes they will be like that forever. They then realize that they have to get close in mind not just in body. Zero then hugs Nina and they also hug “inside their mind” or whatnot and return to normal. Yakumo shows up and bitchslaps Nanase for hurting Nina and they fly off in their air boat.
Upcoming Attractions: Zero’s fiance shows up. More Nina x Zero stuff it seems.

I love nina&zero too, and I wonder if I can ask you a favour hinano… Can you translate what nina and zero are saying when they hug in “their mind”? I don’t understand anything and I wonder what are they saying so If you can translate this part… if you can’t it doesn’t matter! I imagine it… thanks!
They were just basically saying that they have to get closer not just physically but “mentally” inside their minds/hearts and they were saying after they hugged how they are one lmao

Very nice episode! I remember this from the manga I believe. The only thing that spoils it for me is Yakumo’s accent… I’m fine with the kansai ben but for some reason he voice sounds really annoying. Am I the only one who thinks that? Not as annoying as the old man in Utawarerumono but getting there…

I think a lot of the characters are portrayed as REALLY annoying in the anime but it seems to happen a lot with these mangas…the animators seem to just CONCENTRATE on accenting their annoying qualities
