Well back to dramas. I’m still catching up on my boss my hero so there will probably be no updates for that until next Sunday. Anyways, Kaoru gets a call from the music producer who says he wants to meet her and even agrees on the “late night” appointment. Kaoru gets excited and the first person she runs to tell is Kouji. What Kaoru doesn’t know is that the producer only wants to use her song as a “ghost writer” and let Tachibana Asami (that singer lady) sing it instead.

Asami calls up the place where Kouji works and asks to see him. She asks him to take a ride in her car because she wants to speak with him. He refuses but when she mentions Kaoru’s name he agrees. She starts going on about how they once used to play together. He’d play the guitar and she’d play the violin or something. He gets pissed and asks her to stop the car. She begs him to stay with her because she feels if he does so she’ll be able to write songs again. He refuses and walks away.

That night Kouji tells Kaoru that the producer guy won’t call her probably. He said he went to see him and asked him not to let Kaoru be just a ghostwriter but the man refused and said he would not use her songs. The producer guy also planned to cancel Asami’s shows. Kaoru is glad that Kouji did that for her because she doesn’t want to be known as a ghost writer and wants people to recognize her for her songs. Kouji also tells Kaoru the reason he knew about the ghostwriter thing is because he knows “asami” in the music industry.

Kaoru is a bit happier that Kouji told her “a secret about him” and is back to writing songs. She writes a new song, and asks Kouji to listen to it one night. As she is playing suddenly it becomes difficult for her to play the right note. She notices that something is wrong with her hand, and tells Kouji she doesn’t feel well and leaves. She goes to see the doctor who tells her that her last x-rays had a bad result. Apparently her disease has begun to evolve and her left arm is going to be losing movement. Kaoru is mad that he did not tell her this earlier, but he says he was hoping the evolution would not be so fast. (At this point if you’ve seen 1 Liter of Tears you should be having flashbacks like me. :roll:) Kaoru gets depressed and runs off to the shore and tries playing her guitar to no avail. Only bad notes keep coming out. Everyone is panicking looking for her because it’s almost 5Am and the sun will rise. Kouji finds her and tries to get her to go back but she just says that if she can’t play guitar than her life is meaningless. She begins running off into the ocean but Kouji grabs her and hugs her. She asks why he cares (well she screams rather) and he says “Because obviously I love you.” This calms her down and he plays her song on her guitar right in front of her, to her shock.

Upcoming Attractions: Kouji plays the guitar again and Kaoru sings. Asami tries to get her relationship back with Kouji.
