So apparently otakus have pretend girlfriends too! Or rather they pretend that a girl they talk to is “their girlfriend”. Anyway Sato is still trying to write a story for their hentai game but everytime he comes up with a scenario he can’t seem to complete it. For example when the girl says “I love you” he can’t seem to type that out, or when the girl says “You’ve already made me like this.” and he screams “LIKE WHAT?” and throws books around his computer.

Misaki calls Sato a virgin when he asks her to read to him the Freud stuff again but he claims that he did it with a senpai in high school. He then overhears from Misaki that Yamazaki has a girlfriend at college. This angers him and he can’t believe it so he goes to ask him but when he runs into Yamazaki he chickens out. The next day he follows Yamazaki all the way to college to spy on him and check for himself. While trying to figure out where Yamazaki’s classroom is, a writing class professor runs into him and suggests that he sit in on his class. Sato does so, and during the class he starts writinga story but the teacher reads it and laughs (not to be mean of course.) Unfortunately Sato takes it the wrong way and starts thinking everyone is making fun of him. He yells out that it’s the NHK conspiracy against him and runs outta the classroom.

As Sato runs outta the classroom he starts thinking about why a hikkikomori like him is here and who cares about Yamazaki’s girlfriend. Just then he overhears Yamazaki and a girl’s voices and follows them. He sees Yamazaki talking to a girl and says that when he gets home there will be bloodshed. Just as the girl’s friends arrive and leave, Sato overhears them talking. The girl says that she and Yamazaki are not dating and that although his face is cute, he’s kinda weird, and otakuish and seems like a lolicon.

Just then Sato runs into Yamazaki and says that he saw him. Yamazaki starts bragging to Sato how that girl picked him even though she’s pretty popular at the school and that they’ve been going out for some time now. Sato feels bad for Yamazaki because he overheard how the girl has 0 interest in him, so he just smiles, nods & drinks beer with him. That evening Misaki says that it’s good that Sato got out and went to a place with so many people. Sato starts to think that Misaki told him about the girlfriend thing just to get him out and then sees her as an angel. Just then she falls off the playground thing she was walking on and lands on her butt, changing Sato’s mind.
