Kyouya's such a sweetheart

So here’s this week’s Ouran anime/manga difference list:

♪There was no Renge or kids live action show (I swear Renge hasn’t appeared for like the last 5 volumes)
♪As seen in the above screenshot, Kyouya tied them all up, he didn’t smile happily
♪Tamaki didn’t buy a dog who humped him throughout the episode
♪The scene of Tamaki sitting at a table with the mikans is actually from a side story that showed how Tamaki & Kyouya started the Host Club

Upcoming Attractions: Honey-senpai & his brother duke it out…aka the chapter I didn’t really read.

    You left out the biggest difference - the anime took out all the Kyouya/Haruhi hints that were present in the corresponding manga chapter. And while I’m a fan of the pairing, I’m not really disappointed, for some reason. (I have a feeling where this storyline is going…)

    There were hints of the pairing?
    I guess I didn’t pay attention since I’m a hardcore Tamaki x Haruhi fangirl ;)

    Well, yeah, the point of the chapter was that Haruhi gets to know him better and starts to get closer to him while Kyouya demonstrates his good will toward Haruhi by getting revenge on that pottery guy for being rude to her. In the end he basically tells her that she’s mistaken if she thinks he’s emotionally attached to her in any way, though, he adds, that would be an interesting explanation for what happened. All this was missing from the anime, replaced by a kind of observation of Kyouya’s character and motivations.

    That kinda reminds me of the chapter where they were at the resort and he pinned her down on the bed.
    I think theres a bit of hintage with everyone (except like Honey lol) but I truly believe haruhi will end up with Tamaki XD

    I know this is totally out of the topic, but i was wondering how did you learn Japanese? Sorry if that its totally off topic.

    Well in case you didn’t read the about section, I used to fansub (hence the blog name :lol:) and along with that and I also did some song translation and manga scanlation + chatting with some japanese artists and 5 years later here i am :)

    But how did you learn to write or did fansubbing and translating lyrics also helped with writing? By the way, i love Ouran Koukou Host Club and this blog keep up the good work. =)

    sorry, but by write i also meant read. so how did you learn to write and read japanese so well? sorry.

    well as I mentioned with the song lyrics, you have to read the kanji and stuff, same for the manga. that helped a lot ^^ and I did mention chatting and when I say chatting I mean through like BBSes and stuff
