Taiyou no Uta - 02

Published by Hinano at 10:06 pm under Taiyou no Uta, ■Drama/Live Action■

Sorry this is late. It appears my anime/drama schedule is somewhat imbalanced. Those older women only get laid because they're rich To make things easier I will be creating a page with a list of what shows I plan to blog on what day, which will hopefully clear that if something is not posted it could be because the certain day has a show overload. Anyway, about this episode. Takayuki (forgot his name, I’m tired ;.;) is still trying to find a job. Him and his friends first take a job at the beach serving customers (and Becky beats them for not working :lol:). They realize they aren’t making money then the friend who was dating Kaoru’s friend shows up (damn I should learn names) and he tells them he’s been making big bucks by working at a host club.

Cute guy + kitten = win! Takayuki meets a lady there who’s rich as hell and she takes a liking to him and gives him a ton of cash for being her host. The guys continue this job until Kaoru’s friend spots her “byfriend” being a host and is completely heartbroken. Kaoru decides she’s gonna talk some sense into the guy so she runs to the host club. Just as she “requests” him he runs off and instead she runs into Takayuki. She goes outside with him to talk and tells him how that job and outfit doesn’t fit him at all. She says that he’s a nice guy and she knows because she’s been “watching” (stalking :lol:) him for the last 3 years. The first time she saw him was when he dropped off the guitar, and at the time she was in the hospital for a broken leg. She saw him do nice things like save a kitten from a rainfall and keep it dry. aww ;3;~

Hurry!! Her phone alarm goes off, which means it’s time for her to go home before the sun rises. Before she leaves, she gives him her 10,000Yen that she earned waitressing at her mother’s bar because she promised him she’d buy him a bento. As she’s running home her friend is calling here and is worrying because the sun is slowly rising. She makes it back in time just before the sun fully rises and when the doctor checks her skin he says that she made it fine. He tells her that this is something unsual for her to do, and she says it’s because she fell in love…with a jerk.

Only in Japan they look at the moon through a 5 yen coin Takayuki got invited by the rich chick to screw him for lots of money but after Kaoru’s speech he changed his mind and returned the money and quit being a host. He goes back to his job cleaning the surfboards at the beach. One night Kaoru is playing her guitar again and she puts her CD singles up for sale. Takayuki comes by and buys one for 500Yen. Then she tells him how you can see the moon through the 5 yen coin and they both look at it and get close to each other. :shy: Later in the episode, Takayuki is about to go inside the surf shop thing (that apparently he lives in), and then a lady appears in front of him and says “Long time no see.” This lady also happens to be the “singer” who we keep seeing that can’t seem to write a new song.

Upcoming Attractions: Takayuki & Kaoru go on a date, but they get stuck up in a ferris wheel just in time for the sun to rise…

    I wonder.. If I had a sickness like that if I’d risk my life just to see the guy I like. ;p That’s sweet though, both of them.

    On a date.. stuck in a ferris wheel.. :P Sounds fun, but doesn’t that scenario seem to recur a lot. ^^;

    I think the host angle was pretty hilarious. His nerdy looking friend sucked bad at it. I wouldn’t call her (Kaoru) “stalking” him (Koji, Yamada’s character). Her state (in the hospital) kind of made it to where he was the only thing she could see from her bed. It was kind of like a crush from afar, so to speak, but yeah, if I were Koji, I’d be freaked out some girl knew so damn much about me.

    I think I can already predict where this is gonna go in terms of the ex-gf(??), Koji, and Kaoru, at least loosely. No doubt, the producer will get in the mix, too. BTW, I just love how the night and the sunset always looks in this series. It really sets the mood for everything.

    Oh yeah, I watched Sapuri ep 3. It’s another good one.

    I was gonna watch Sapuri last night but I was too tired. I’ll watch it today after work. I guess I said stalker cause from Koji’s pov, she really did seem like one. :lol:
    Is that lady his ex -gf? For some reason I thought she was like his sister who maybe he hasn’t seen in a while because of the parents thing….lol I’m so hopeful. XD

    deina> Yes the ferris wheel is a VITAL PART of every drama!! XD;; She didn’t risk her health to see the guy she likes (not at first) she ran to talk to her friend’s boyfriend because I guess she wanted to scold him for being a host.

    LMAO at comment about ferris wheels! I think every respectable drama needs at least one “yuuenchi” (amusement park) scene or episode.
