Princess Princess D - 02
Yaoi live action? Seriously this whole episode was like a weird attempt at “fanservice” for females but it came out so ridiculous that I wasn’t sure whether to laugh or just go “wtf?” 
It started with Tohru trying to wake up a sleeping Mikoto who kept mumbling “Jennifer” (not Megumi?) and then grabbing Tohru who climbed on top of him to “wake him up”. (What is this? An erogame? “Oniichan okite!” *girl jumps on top of guy so he wakes up to a shot of her panties*)
So now there’s a new transfer student which wasn’t in the anime. He wants to “change the way the school does the hime” thing. Actually I think he wants to get rid of it? They spent like 5 minutes on this stupid Karaoke performance which was a lipsync performance. The thing is, they lipsynched to a guy singing….I mean if you’re gonna lip it, at least get a girls voice so it at least looks like a girl is singing. I thought that was retarded.
Then there were a bunch of stupid scenes of like that guy taking a shower. No dialogue just different angles of him showering. Somehow these things work better in anime but they just don’t work in drama unless it’s like “related” to the story in which case this isn’t. So speaking of dumb scenes they next pan to a scene of Mikoto and Yuujirou in the wrestling/exercise room. Yuujirou is eating bananas and tries to think of ideas to get back at the new guy whos being a jerk to them. 
He comes up with a “brilliant” idea to trip him in the hallways by throwing a banana peel in front of him. It obviously doesn’t work. Then him and Mikoto proceed to “wrestling” with each other and the pose actually looks like uh something else…probably on purpose. In the end it’s a shot of the student council guy saying how this “new guy” is “something dreadful” blah.
What a drag heh I don’t know if I wanna keep watching this show. Probably if this was all done in anime, it would have been funnier but it’s just not translating through the same fashion into the drama. I guess I’ll give it another ep or 2 before I decide. ^^;…

Yeah, this episode was poorly done. I mean, if you want to add fanservice at least make it relevant to the story. Some random shower scene doesn’t work in anime and even less here. And they didn’t even sing Cutey Honey there…
yea I dont know wtf they were singing
but if the show goes in the direction of the way this episode was handled I’m probably gonna drop it because this was just awful ^^;
Christ, this is just gross. BL is good and all only in the realm of fantasy, most effectively conveyed by mediums such as anime and manga, but once converted to live action, the fun is just not there any more, instead we are left with bucket full of awkwardness and dare I say, embarrassment? I wonder what’s going through the actors’ mind when they don the girly fluffy lolita costumes and actually start to climb on top of one another….

thats what I mean live action BL makes me feel like I’m watching some kind of gay porno without anything “majorly hardcore”. I was checking it out cause ep 1 was funny but this was just…weird…o_o;
I usually like the Drama tha have a lots of Bishonen, Japanese boys are cute but i have to agree with everyone. This episode was badly done, i think that it should stick with the way the anime was made and i also don’t see why Tory have to get on Mikoto just to wake him up! I mean that’s silly, he could just throw some cold water on him. But if the director want to make it look like they are closing to each other. They should make Mikoto suddenly grab Toru to the bed with him, that would make more sense!!!

I do like the way the story goes in the anime, but somehow, the drama seems a bit disapointed. I so can not belived that Yujiro was acting more like than other two friends of his. He should be like in the anime, keep things to himself and looks really more like when dress up, but Yujiro’s manly body stood out more than his friends!!!!
I think based on the opening scene, Tohru & Mikoto are like the 2 guys about to kiss…so the drama for some reason wants them together….which I guess means Mikoto isn’t gonna have a “girlfriend”

I always thought Tohru and Yuujirou was more plausible. I kinda don’t wanna watch it now.
I had assumed that too from the anime since Mikoto had a gf but the drama screwed it all up, needless to say I’m no longer watching it
Pfft. You guys are so idiotic. What’s wrong with live action BL? It’s better than anime, that’s for sure. Yeah the drama is different, it’s BETTER. so stfu. anime nuts.
