I was going through my photobucket account and stumbled upon screencaps of a D no Arashi episode from about 2 years ago. This was way before Densha Otoko even aired on TV. Arashi, is a boy band in Japan and they went to visit Akihabara and to observe “Otaku”. This episode cracked me up.

First they visited the house of a girl otaku…aka “otome”. Her entire room (small as it is) was plastered with cosplay! They even asked her to put on one of her costumes. They asked “Why do you collect all this stuff?” since she had a bunch of Kanon and Clannad posters on her wall…she said “Because it’s cute”. She even had a Kasumi body pillow. The guy in the back cosplaying DBZ is the “otaku” friend of the “otome”. Masaki Aiba (from Arashi) decided he’d try one of her Nurse outfits. Continue Reading »

And the plot thickens:

So now that Ai has reached her full form in the picture what next? I keep thinking she’s either that hospital girl’s wish to “be relive her days before she was hospitalized” , or perhaps she is her baby? Hence the pillow. Don’t spoil me I haven’t read the manga or novel :P.

On a different topic, does anyone know how to split categories? I added like “Current” and “Finished” series parent categories, but they won’t show up “split” on the sidebar. Is there some way to split the parent/child categories so it’s easier? Or else we’re gonna have one big category sidebar soon… Problem solved thanks to this wonderful page.

That sucked. It sucked so hard that I’m not even going to ever rewatch this series and my summary is going to be one big ball of truthful sarcasm. I’m going to say outright that I love any anime with any kind of romance and pairings, and even though Roux and Firiel was really in there, I just can’t say this was a good series. Beautiful art, mysterious music, drama and big boobed women are not going to cover up for the fact that the story just plain sucks. Continue Reading »
