Nana - 12
Shouji you manslut!
I really feel sorry for Hachi-Nana. (Am I the only one who calls her Nana and not Hachi?) I also feel sorry for this anime. Due to it being 50 episodes, with 2 recaps already within 12 eps, many bloggers are dropping it, fansubbers are dropping it, hell even my boyfriend stopped reading the manga . I haven’t read the manga because apparently if I do, I will hate the anime. I really do feel sorry for this series and I want to continue to watch it despite the majority tossing it into their recycle bins. (Then again I seem to watch animes a lot of people dislike so maybe this is just another one for the pile.)
I think the only other thing keeping me from dropping this series is the strong desire to make an anime music video to an Ace of Base song with this show.
P.S. Thanks to all you guys who commented on the MKV post. I ended up using Virtual Dub Mod since I’ll eventually need to convert the files to avi anyway if I want to make that amv ^.

The hell freeze before I drop Nana. =) I don’t know about others, but josei drama about two girls is my dream setting anime could ever have. Even if absolutely nothing happens that only make it better.
Haha well that’s good to hear XD At least I’m not the only fish left in the Nana blogging sea!
I haven’t seen nana 12 yet, just can not find it in torrent. But I liked this Anime and as I was waiting for more anime I sbambled on Nana the Movie. I accutally liked it too, and I would recomment all fans to watch it. It seems a complete story and runs for almost 2 hours. As movie by itself it’s OK, but not a masterpiece ofcause, but You’ll love it if you watched some of NANA Anime. What I really like about the anime, and this is exactely what movie misses, are insites (NANAs’ thoughts) and comical bits (like tail etc) what is easily created in animation. Frankly, I don’t understand people who read manga and then watch anime. Manga is such a poor form of media. I’d rather read a good book, like Reality Disfunction by P Hamilton, whitch is long (3 volumes) and mind blowing. But that’s me. Back to NANA - I will keep on watching it in spite of seen the movie.
I actually heard if I read the manga it will ruin the anime for me which is why I didn’t bother. I wanted to see the movie but that was way after the torrent had been posted so I don’t think its being seeded anymore XP I actually prefer some manga to the anime series, but like I said in this case I’ll pass.
You people can just watch it on youtube!
Nana rules!! I still watch it =P
