For better or for worse, we get to see almost full involvement of nearly every character in this arc. This last episode, however, totally blew it for me because everything got slammed into my face. Without any prior hints Manager is dead; then Rika is dead; then K1 is killed; then EVERYONE is dead except for K1. While they may be trying to angle thigns from a pure K1 perspective, it was nonetheless rushed development that kind of broke the feel in Higurashi. In arc 1, everything progressed slower, you could say the lulls in between the shocks made us truely feel shocked. In this arc the frequent surprises are so abound that one gets desensitised. Lets hope the next arc will take its time to develop its story. [...]</description>
