You know the only reason I’ve been keeping up with this series is for the sake of  Firiel’s and Roux’s relationship. (The whole time I thought his name was Rune because that’s how Firiel pronounced it…then I checked the official site. :|) I expected this to be a 26 episoder, but turns out next week is the last one! Wow go figure. So here I sat through 12 episodes not knowing wtf is going on aside from….the which above I have interest in.

I’m really lost on what’s going on in this show from the start. I mean there was so much different stuff happening in every episode and after 2 eps whatever the “issue” was it was resolved. I never got the point of her being at the monastary or the swordfight. I didn’t get why she left I didn’t get why Roux was dressed as a girl, and I don’t get what’s crawled up the butt of that girl with the big boobs and blueish hair. I also don’t get whether the dude here on the left is just an evil bastard or one big pedophile. So they confront him in his castle thing. I think he is supposed to be some kind of evil doer named “Hermes..” something (I’m getting Densha Otoko vibes lol). Apparently he is the reason Roux has suffered and out of anger Firiel says “I’ll make you feel the pain that Roux has felt all this time” but sadly he kicks her butt..that is until baby Unicorn comes to the rescue (what’s with this show and random outside deus ex machinas?) and the tables are turned to Firiel’s side. But before they can have a party on beating the bad guys (btw did anyone notice how Ishida Akira’s seiyuu always plays the traitor roles or the really gay ones? :D) that thing that’s up in the sky (which I still don’t understand what it is) starts spazzing out and shoots a thunder bolt into the ocean causing lots of waves..and stuff. I don’t know, I really dont’ get it.

The only other notes I have about the series is the relationship between Adale and Eusis. From the official site I was looking at the manga covers and one of them has a picture of the two of them in this romantic embrace. The manga art looks pretty I bet it’s full of flowers, bubbles and spakles! In the anime though they are treated strictly as siblings it appears even though it’s obvious Adale has a crush on him. Maybe that will be resolved in the final episode.
